History

Formed in 2002, Abacus (Caledonia) Ltd is a young company combining established roots with fresh ideas. The company was created in order to merge the knowledge and expertise of four consultants wishing to branch away from standard products to create a new and innovative approach. Abacus was able to bring together a team to respond to the needs of a range of clients, which has resulted in prospering business relationships to this day. Our robust client base speaks for our individual reputations and experience in the market.

Past projects and clients include:

• Leadership development programme for Maxxium (UK) Ltd, a premium wine and spirits sales and distribution network. Executive coaching sessions helped delegates evaluate their own progress in preparation for future Board presentations.
• Leadership and supervisory management programme for Airdrie Savings Bank, Scotland’s only independent bank. One to one coaching was a key element to this programme.
• Benchmarking skills of managers at all levels for the Seafish Industry Authority and Network Rail (Scotland).
• Designing and delivering training and consultation for the Scottish Executive as part of a 3 year contract in the areas of Working in a Project Environment, Managing Diversity, Project Leadership, and coaching a number of senior management and civil servants in project management tools and methods.
