Developing and Supporting Organisational Communications
Evaluation of internal communications will allow your organisation to ensure and improve employee contribution towards your business goals. Additionally, the Abacus method will ensure that your processes are compliant with the EU Information and Consultation Directive (April 2005). Our communications review tracks your employees’ attitude towards current communication processes.
The survey looks at four main areas:
- business information
- communication behaviour
- customer communication
- communication channels.
This audit helps identify how the organisation currently provides and disseminates essential information in a way that helps everyone improve what you do for your customers and business performance. The Abacus model features Internal Review Days, which provide an informal/relaxed opportunity to meet a variety of people (from as many functions as possible) to create direct involvement in the process of improving communication.
The audit will engage a cross-section of people from various departments throughout the organisation, to provide a balanced view of:
- how people think and feel about the business (e.g. from being very proud to feeling uninspired)
- their feelings towards customers (internal and external)
- communication and how they would like to see it change.
It also gives the organisation an invaluable insight into how people think and feel about the business. This emotional perspective helps define how teams work together, their goals and values.
Beyond the initial audit, Abacus can offer tailored guidance and support in the development of an internal communications strategy and advice on process improvement, using our PIF model.
